Concrete Pump Pipe blocking solution
Concrete pump has been widely used due to its high degree of mechanization, convenient operation and high efficiency. However, the blockage of the pump during use is a difficult problem that often occurs.
Common locations for plugging are the feed port, the discharge port of the distribution valve, the S-tube valve, the elbow, the cone tube, and the like. The first three concretes were not pumped to the Concrete Pump Pipe, so some were called plugging.
1The pumping action and hydraulic system are normal, there is no abnormal sound, and there is no vibration in the pump and pipeline. This performance indicates that there is no concrete flow in the pump and piping, and the blockage position is definitely at the inlet. At this point, check the feed port. There is a large aggregate or agglomerate in the hopper, which is stuck or arched at the feed port and blocked.
Remedy: Reverse the pump to destroy the agglomeration, return the concrete to the hopper and stir again, then pump forward. If it does not work, it needs to be manually cleaned up and excluded.
2 is the sudden interruption of the pumping system action, and there is an abnormal sound, the pump has strong vibration and there is no corresponding vibration in the pipeline. This performance indicates that there is concrete flowing in the pump and no concrete flows in the pipeline. The location of the Concrete Pump Pipe is definitely at the discharge port of the distribution valve or at the S-tube valve.
Remedy: After pumping concrete, rinse the pump body and S tube with high pressure water. When the flushing is not effective, the residue can be removed by soldering until it is completely removed.
3, the pumping pressure is gradually increased, and the hopper material level does not drop, the pipe outlet does not discharge, the pump vibrates, and the pipeline is accompanied by strong vibration and displacement. This performance indicates that there is concrete flow in both the pump and the Concrete Pump Pipe. The blockage position must be in the pipeline. The position generally occurs in the elbow, the cone pipe, and the vibrating section. The hammer is used to beat along the pipeline, and the sound is dull.
Remedy: When clogging occurs, the pump can be reversed and reversed, and the plugging can be reversed and pumped. While checking along the pipeline, you can use a wooden hammer to hit the part that is considered to be blocked, and sometimes it can block. The aggregate is loose after being vibrated to make the pump unblocked; if the knock is not effective, it cannot be hit with a hammer or other objects that may damage the pipe. If the blocked pipe is judged to be accurate and the blockage is not far from the end of the pipe discharge, the pipe should be removed, the concrete that has been blocked is removed, and the pipe is removed, and the pumping can be continued. If the blocked pipe is far from the end of the pipe, and the blocked pipe is cleaned and then returned to the pipeline, the empty pipe may cause the pipe to be blocked again due to the gas plug. In this case, the pipe concrete after the blockage section should be blown out by compressed air and pumped. If the pipe plugging position cannot be judged quickly or it is difficult to disassemble, the concrete should be blown off by air washing. In the case of a Concrete Pump Pipe, a segmental purge is often required. If it is divided into shorter sections and can not be washed, the manpower should be organized as soon as possible, all the pipes should be dismantled section by section, the concrete should be removed, and rinsed with water.
